Getting leads from your existing client list
The goal is not to sell every time. The goal is to stay relevant.
Hey {{ subscriber.first_name }}!
Do you have leads hiding in plain sight?
If you are not communicating regularly with your current and past customers, the answer is yes.
One of the most overlooked lead generation strategies for service businesses is simply staying in touch with the people who have already done business with you.
A quarterly is good (especially for SMS outreach). A monthly/weekly email is better.
Not only are these leads inexpensive to generate, they are some of the highest-quality leads you will ever get.
When I talk about this strategy, I usually hear three objections.
“I do not know what to send.”
Promotions or discounts are good; but there are other options...
You can send:
Helpful information about your service
Seasonal maintenance tips
Company updates
Customer success stories
Frequently asked questions

“My business is not that type of business.”
I believed this for years at SG Window Tint.
People only buy window tint every few years, right? That was my thinking.
What I discovered was that customers needed our services more often than I realized. They bought another vehicle. Their child started driving. They moved into a new home. They referred a friend.
More importantly, many simply forgot about us over time.
Consistent communication gave them a reason to remember us when the need came up.
Monthly emails and quarterly SMS campaigns our now our most consistent lead source.
“I do not know how to do it.”
That is fair.
But this is one of the lowest-cost and highest-quality lead sources available to most service businesses. It is worth learning.
Today, tools like Canva, Brevo and most CRM systems make it easier than ever to stay in touch with your customer list.
If you are not communicating with your current and past customers on a regular basis, start simple.
Send one helpful email this month. Then do it again next month.
You may be surprised how many leads were sitting right in front of you the whole time.
